What is B&B Rewards? How do I join?

Breathe & Bark Rewards is a loyalty program that treats our [ Bark Stars ] with the rewards they deserve! Do you really source all your fabric from Thailand? 

Yes!! All fabric is sourced from Chiang Mai and Bangkok, Thailand. All products are handmade in Thailand by myself and my team. Fabric shopping for bright bold Breathe & Bark colors is one of my favorite things to do! Check out this blog post to learn more. 

 

How do I care for my new items?

Our bandanas, bows and scrunchies should be hand washed in cold water as needed. Lay flat to dry. Low iron bandana on the reverse side.

 

How long do orders take to ship? Where do they ship from? 

I live and make all products in Thailand. To ship to the United States (or anywhere else in the world is very expensive ($14+ USD) and takes a very long time to arrive to you. Instead of offering you this option my very amazing mom has agreed to help me ship items (thanks, mom!)

Once I have a large order completed I ship in bulk to the United States. My mom then ships your order directly to you within 1 - 3 business days. This way I can offer low shipping prices ($3.50+). All orders are shipped from Arizona, USA via USPS first class with tracking. 

 

Do you accept returns or exchanges? 

Yes! Our goal is that you are 100% satisfied with your order. Please reach out to us within one week of receiving your order to let us know what you would like to return. Any item to be returned should be worn for try on purposes only. Items returned with obvious use may be subject to refusal. To find out more please click on our return policy.

 

What size bandana should I order?

All products have a size chart listed in the product description. We recommend that you measure your pup’s neck for the best fit. Your dog’s bandana should fit loosely around your dog’s neck, not tight like a collar. If your pup is between sizes we recommend sizing up.

All of our sizes are the same as they were in our Etsy store. Instead of 2-snap bandanas, however, we now offer 3-snap bandanas with snaps placed 1-inch apart for a more customized fit.

Is your Etsy store still open? Can I still order any of your old patterns? 

At this time my Etsy store is closed. I’ve focused all of my time and energy into sourcing high-quality Thai textiles and developing my website.

In time I aim to reopen my Etsy store. I still have stock in many of my favorite fabrics. Once they are sold out I plan to solely maintain this website and stock it with Thai fabrics.

 

Can I customize my order like before?

No :( I am so sad to say I no longer offer customizations. I’ve thought long and hard about how I can customize your order for you while getting it to you within a reasonable time period and offer a low shipping rate. Since I live far far away in Thailand at this time I’m unable to achieve all of these things. My goal is to provide you with a high-quality product with Thai textiles, shipped to you within 1 – 3 business days and at a low shipping cost. 

I try to select a diversity of fabrics, colors, tassels and pom-pom styles. I hope you will still be able to find something you love at Breathe & Bark!

 

Do you offer names on your bandanas?

No. I do not have the machine needed to print a name on bandanas. Most companies that print names or fun sayings on bandanas usually print on plain fabric.

At Breathe & Bark you know we love to source colorful and wild prints. I think if names are printed on top of these designs they may end up looking too busy or take away from the unique prints I offer. 

In the future, if there is a demand to add names to our bandanas I may look into this option, but it would be months down the road. Let me know what you think! We love hearing from our customers on how we can continue to improve our brand.

  

What rescues do you donate to?

$1 from each bandana sold is given back to amazing rescues.

 Did you know there are over 200,000 stray “soi” dogs in Thailand alone?!

“soi” in Thai means alley. Stray dogs in Thailand are commonly referred to as “soi dogs” or alley dogs.

It is hard to find exact numbers, but through traveling in many parts of Thailand I see soi dogs everywhere I go. It is now illegal to feed a soi dog because their population is so high, not to mention the chance they may have rabies (this is rare, but still a virus to be concerned about).

I tend to find out all of the horrifying things that happen to dogs in Thailand through the Instagram accounts below(run over by cars, chained up, and/or suffering from canine diseases). These are the 3 rescues in Thailand that I currently support.

I realize there are so many dogs in need and while donations help there is so much more to that can be done! I always want to learn more about how I can help in Thailand and around the world?

Is your pup rescued from a shelter? Is that shelter doing amazing things for dogs (and other animals) in need?

We offer periodic model searches throughout the year. The best way to find out about an upcoming model search is by following @breatheandbark on Instagram.

Qualities we look for: 

• Public dog accounts with high-quality photos
• Loyal supporters (customers and/or engaged on our Instagram account)
• Regular posts on your social and interactive with your followers
• A love for all things Breathe & Bark! Sharing our products through posts and story updates! 

As much as we’d love to select everyone that enters our contests to become models, that just isn’t feasible. This is one reason why we’ve developed BB Rewards – as a thank you to our amazing loyal customers!
